Scott Savage, a librarian at OSU – Mansfield, suggested a controversial book for all incoming freshmen to read; the book included a chapter describing homosexuality as aberrant behavior. As a result, professors filed a complaint against him alleging harassment based on sexual orientation. After resigning from his position, Savage filed suit against various University officials and faculty members.
