The issue included multiple fabricated headlines and stories, including “UNC brings back DEI—for whites,” “A new way forward for the Dean Dome: a two-stadium solution,” “Trump orders ALE in Chapel Hill to be replaced with ICE agents,” a mock rebranding of the publication as “The Daily Woke Heel,” and a satirical piece describing men’s basketball coach Hubert Davis rushing to find a summer internship. The athletics-related parody referenced fictional facility planning debates, while the ICE-related article invoked immigration enforcement themes set in Chapel Hill.
