Summary
In September 2022, the General Counsel’s office at the University of Idaho issued guidance in light of the state’s decision to outlaw abortion. The office stated that university employees were prohibited from counseling in favor of or promoting abortion during work. The office also requires faculty not to discuss “abortion or contraception” in classroom conversations unless they remain “neutral.”
