Summary

On November 12, 2025, Myron Gaines, co-host of the “Fresh & Fit” podcast and a speaker with Uncensored America, appeared at The Ohio State University as part of Uncensored America’s “Toxic Masculinity Tour.” The event was hosted by a registered student organization and held at the Browning Amphitheater, with more than 200 people in attendance. During the four-hour event, Gaines discussed topics including gender, religion, and the Israel–Gaza conflict. He described women as “value extractors,” criticized women who pursued education and careers, and made other statements about gender roles. A table at the event displayed a sign stating, “Transgenderism is a mental illness. Prove me wrong.”

During the event, Gaines also made statements regarding the Holocaust and Israel. After a Jewish student questioned a gesture Gaines had made that resembled a Nazi salute, Gaines stated that it was a “Roman salute” and repeated the gesture. Gaines questioned established historical accounts of the Holocaust, including the number of Jewish victims, and stated that historians had financial incentives to maintain certain historical narratives. He also made statements regarding Jewish influence and criticism of Israel during a discussion about the Israel–Gaza conflict.

Following the event, Ohio State University stated that it condemned antisemitism and all forms of discrimination but explained that it could not prevent the event because it involved protected expression by a registered student organization. The university stated that it had reminded the organization of campus expression policies before the event and had taken steps to maintain safety while allowing the program to proceed. In April 2026, Ohio State again addressed Gaines’ campus appearances, stating that the university’s free-expression policies limited its ability to prohibit his speech while reaffirming its commitment to addressing antisemitism and supporting members of the university community.
