Summary

Yale Law School’s chapter of the Federalist Society invited Kristen Waggoner and Monica Miller to discuss Uzuegbunam v. Preczewski, a recent Supreme Court case concerning religious freedom and free speech. The March 10, 2022 event was intended to illustrate how liberals and conservatives can find common ground on free speech issues. At the event, dozens of law students heckled and jeered the speakers and the faculty member who introduced them.  Eventually, campus police officers arrived to escort the speakers out of the building.
